What is an unmatched bet?

If you are making an offer to bet at better odds, then your bet is displayed on BETDAQ until someone else decides it represents good value and matches it themselves. At any point up until the bet is matched you are free to change the odds, amend the amount or cancel the bet.

All unmatched offers are automatically cancelled when an event starts.

Special conditions can sometimes apply to unmatched offers in markets that are ‘in-running’

Because BETDAQ is a fast moving exchange, it might sometimes happen that someone else gets to a bet you want just before you.  In this case you will be advised that your bet is unmatched and it is displayed as an offer.  In many cases this will be accepted quickly because it will be close to the best odds available on the other side.  You do have the option however to cancel or accept the next best odds.
