BETDAQ was acquired by Ladbrokes PLC in February 2013 and became part of the wider Ladbrokes Coral Group PLC on 01 November 2017. To this end, customer funds are held for BETDAQ customers on trust by a trust company ("Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited"), which is a subsidiary of LadbrokesCoral PLC, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange and the ultimate parent company of BETDAQ.

Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited is a trustee company that has been specifically incorporated for the purpose of holding customer funds on trust for customers of the LadbrokesCoral Group, including BETDAQ, and its sole purpose and business objective is the management and custody of customer funds of the LadbrokesCoral Group, including BETDAQ customer funds. Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited's mandate requires that it must hold and retain any customer funds of the LadbrokesCoral Group received in entirely separate bank accounts from the LadbrokesCoral Group operating companies, including BETDAQ.
